new kobe shoes
The LeBron 11 was officially unveiled today, finally giving us insight into the design of the year’s most anticipated new model, as well as some further release clarification. Just as good, today we also get a glimpse of a heretofore unseen colorway that’s dropping soon. The Nike LeBron 11 Terracotta Warrior release date is set for October 1 in Greater China, November 27 everywhere else. The shoe is inspired by the Terracotta Warrior Exhibition that LeBron visited in Xi’An, China in 2011. LeBron and Nike’s design team perceived significant overlaps in the warriors’ spirit of grit, confidence, hard work and determination and LeBron’s style of play.As such, the Terracotta Warrior LeBron 11 dons the neutral stone colors that the warriors are today, and adds in flashes of purple, teal and red as a nod to how they were originally painted. A graphic pattern on the Hyperposite piecing represents the armor the warriors wore, while the inner-lining’s pattern is an homage to art of the warriors’ Bronze Age.
We’ve seen preview after preview the last few weeks, but we’re finally bringing a bit more clarity to the murky launch picture. Which is to say, it looks like we finally have a Nike LeBron 12 release date.Further details, technology-related and otherwise, are of course still developing, but as of right now it looks like the lead “Grey/Turquoise” edition of the shoe will hit retailers October 11, retailing for $200.That price is immediately noteworthy in that it’s the same as the LeBron 11, and keeping the price of LeBrons static from model to model is not exactly a practice for which Nike is known. So could it change between now and then? Absolutey. At the moment though, the launch details are as follows.Nike LeBron 12“Grey/Turquoise”Style #: 684593-30111 October 2014$200Photos via Bilskii, details via SC.

Case in point, check out the Nike LeBron 9 St. Vincent St. Mary PE, featuring the school’s green-and-yellow palette, a kind of iridescent off-white trim that reacts under certain lighting, and “IRISH” across the tongues.
