The LeBron 11 is already looking quite impressive and we’re only one release in. Can you imagine some of the under-the-radar colorways that are good enough for LeBron, but for some reason just never make it to retail?Well, you don’t have to imagine, thanks to the King himself sharing this shot of his LeBron 11 Red/Teal-Gold, unfortunately just a 1-of-1 colorway that will not release. Dope nonetheless, no?

The Nike LeBron 8 V/2 “Summit Lake Hornets” (named for LeBron’s AAU team), Nike LeBron 8 V/2 “Yankees” and Nike LeBron 8 V/2 “Entourage” release dates are all set for March 4th, each retailing for $160. It’s going to be a tough day for LeBron 8 fans, with three of the best colorways on the silhouette all landing on the same day. The “Entourage” features a primarily blue upper, based on an old HBO Entourage poster/book cover, the “Summit Lake” opts for a turquoise/grey-purple look, and the “Yankees” borrows colors from the the Pinstripers of New York, going navy, white and silver. Check out looks at each under the cut, and look for these on shelves on Saturday. Most conspicuous on the new model is the carbon fiber textile along the back-half of the shoe, adding strength and flexibility, but the inconspicuous is pretty impressive as well. The shoe features Hyperfuse composite on the front of the upper, reducing weight and enhancing breathability, while embedded Flywire maximizes stability. To finish it off, a 180° Max Air unit adds superlative cushioning in the heel, while forefoot Zoom Air ensures cushioning and responsiveness. We’re expecting the Nike LeBron 9 release date around October, but anything could happen with the lockout, so stay tuned.
