We haven’t covered any sneaker/Nike-inspired art for a while, so today we turn again to our boy Keoni Block of Kreating the Beast Design Group, last featured on Nikeblog with his War of the Worlds series, and a previous collaborator with names like Nike, Bleacher Report and Terrell Suggs.KTB’s latest series is entitled “TWO by 6,” celebrating two consecutive championships by number six himself, LeBron James. The series’ title piece features TWO BY 6 scrawled in graffiti-style script ostensibly comprised of the NBA’s Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy. The other four pieces, meanwhile, incorporate LeBron James’s latest signature shoe, two each of the “King’s Pride” edition and the “Away” edition. Check out each print below, and hit up Kreating the Beast on Twitter to see some other work.

The three pairs available feature colorways of cool grey/white-midnight navy, sport red/varsity royal-white and light bone/calder brown, for the New Jersey Nets, CSKA Moscow and Cleveland Browns, respectively. The Nets are thought to be a legitimate contender for Bron’s services (but let’s be honest, they’re not), CSKA Moscow was the Russian team that mentioned they’d be willing to pay him a boatload of money if he wanted to cross the Atlantic, to which one of his boys said he would seriously consider such an offer (but of course he wouldn’t, let’s not be absurd) and the Browns colorway is inspired by the public’s constant wondering if LeBron could play football, as well as that State Farm commercial that placed him in a Browns uniform. Check out a few more pictures after the jump.Nike Air Max LeBron VII Low RP--Cleveland BrownsNike Air Max LeBron VII Low RP--CSKA MoscowNike Air Max LeBron VII Low RP--New Jersey NetsPrevious story Nike Dunk High SB Skunk QSNext story LeBron VII Postseason Black/Red Release ChangedFacebookSearch NikeBlog.comRecent PostsNew Nike Football Cleat Types Bring Speed to Every PositionNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningNike Free Flyknit Hot Lava | Latest Flyknit Model Finally DropsThe Statuesque Air Jordan 9 “Militia Green”Nike Air Max NM Red/Black | Hideo’s Heat Returns!Recent PostsNew Nike Football Cleat Types Bring Speed to Every PositionNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningNike Free Flyknit Hot Lava | Latest Flyknit Model Finally DropsThe Statuesque Air Jordan 9 “Militia Green”Nike Air Max NM Red/Black | Hideo’s Heat Returns!MIssionTo provide the most up to date news, images, and opinions on today's top sneaker company.FIND ARTICLESHomeAboutAdvertise on NBContactPrivacyTwitterFacebookRSSNikeBlog.com is not affiliated with the Nike, Inc. brand in any way, shape, or form. There aren’t a ton of drops set for this weekend, but this is a big one. The Nike LeBron 9 ‘Freegums’ release date is finally here, with the shoe, designed by Miami-based artist Alvaro Ilizarbe aka Freegums, set to hit stores tomorrow, December 31st. Featuring a largely black and white makeup with some contrasting red accents, this colorway sports a unique print by Freegums covering the inner-lining of the shoe and the tissue paper that comes in the box. Hit the jump for plenty of looks and expect these in stores tomorrow and online (nikestore.com, for example) at midnight EST tonight.Nike LeBron 9White/White-Black-Sport RedStyle: 469764-10112/31/2011$170#gallery-1 {margin: auto;}#gallery-1 .gallery-item {float: left;margin-top: 10px;text-align: center;width: 33%;}#gallery-1 img {border: 2px solid #cfcfcf;}#gallery-1 .gallery-caption {margin-left: 0;}/* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */Nike LeBron 9 ‘Freegums’Nike LeBron 9 ‘Freegums’Nike LeBron 9 ‘Freegums’Nike LeBron 9 ‘Freegums’Nike LeBron 9 ‘Freegums’Nike LeBron 9 ‘Freegums’Nike LeBron 9 ‘Freegums’Nike LeBron 9 ‘Freegums’Nike LeBron 9 ‘Freegums’Nike LeBron 9 ‘Freegums’Nike LeBron 9 ‘Freegums’Nike LeBron 9 ‘Freegums’
