The LeBron XI has been responsible for myriad broken necks and popped eyes since the various editions started rolling out back in November, but the upcoming “King’s Crown” may just be making a late run to be named Best Colorway Ever. The perfect combination of neutral and conspicuous, rendered in premium everything, the shoe starts out with an understated black upper. Mundanity is forgone however thanks to a buttery molded suede construction, taking the familiar shape of the XI while minimizing stitching and panels, then giving way to a tonal leather sockliner.Delivering stylishly shocking contrast, ultra-metallic gold then adorns the model’s signature inlays, perfectly popping against not just the black upper, but an icy blue outsole.Unfortunately we’re still short one Nike LeBron 11 EXT King’s Crown release date, so check out plenty of photos below and keep it locked to NB for updates.Photos via Marquee Sole.

So without further ado, the Nike LeBron XI release date is scheduled for Saturday, October 12 — in at least the Parachute Gold colorway — a week into the next NBA preseason. While we don’t have all the tech details yet, it’s likely you’re looking at the most innovative basketball model Nike has ever made. The upper is light, durable and stylish thanks to Armorposite, a lightweight performance derivative of Foamposite, while Hyperfuse construction further drops weight while ramping up breathability.Dynamic Flywire reinforces the upper, stabilizing the foot, while the drop-in cushioning system features full-length Zoom paired with Lunarlon foam, accomplishing maximal impact protection as well as a responsive ride.Retail is set for $200, sizing options running all the way from toddler up to men’s.Nike LeBron XIParachute Gold/Arctic Green-Dark Loden-BlackStyle #: 616175-70012 October 2013$200Images courtesy of Long 7.Previous story All-Red Air Jordan Legends of the Summer PackNext story Nike Kobe 8 FIREWORKS | Another LookRelated PostsNike LeBron 11 Low BISCAYNE Release Info, Official PhotosSeptember 2, 2014Nike LeBron 11 MAISON DU LEBRON | Devil’s in the DetailsAugust 20, 2014Nike LeBron 11 Low BISCAYNE Release Date, PhotosAugust 19, 2014Nike Maison Du LeBron Collection | Release Info, Official PhotosAugust 18, 2014FacebookSearch NikeBlog.comRecent PostsNew Nike Football Cleat Types Bring Speed to Every PositionNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningNike Free Flyknit Hot Lava | Latest Flyknit Model Finally DropsThe Statuesque Air Jordan 9 “Militia Green”Nike Air Max NM Red/Black | Hideo’s Heat Returns!Recent PostsNew Nike Football Cleat Types Bring Speed to Every PositionNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningNike Free Flyknit Hot Lava | Latest Flyknit Model Finally DropsThe Statuesque Air Jordan 9 “Militia Green”Nike Air Max NM Red/Black | Hideo’s Heat Returns!MIssionTo provide the most up to date news, images, and opinions on today's top sneaker company.FIND ARTICLESHomeAboutAdvertise on NBContactPrivacyTwitterFacebookRSSNikeBlog.com is not affiliated with the Nike, Inc. brand in any way, shape, or form. Case in point, the LeBron XI Olive/Black, for lack of the colorway’s official name. The new “Armorposite” material is colored in olive green along the side, overlaid against tonal Hyperfuse synthetic which gives way to breathable black mesh down the center of the shoe.Red Flywire peeks out at the lacelets, adding contrast, but the truly eye-catching feature is the multi-colored inner-lining, which is styled in the same vein as the LeBron X Low from the Championship Pack. This was actually the first colorway we previewed back in May, so we won’t spend much time on it today. Enjoy the shot, and stay tuned for plenty more.Photo via theanswerisai.Previous story Jordan Super.Fly 2 Release DateNext story Jordan Super.Fly 2 MINTRelated PostsNike LeBron 11 Low BISCAYNE Release Info, Official PhotosSeptember 2, 2014Nike LeBron 11 MAISON DU LEBRON | Devil’s in the DetailsAugust 20, 2014Nike LeBron 11 Low BISCAYNE Release Date, PhotosAugust 19, 2014Nike Maison Du LeBron Collection | Release Info, Official PhotosAugust 18, 2014Bryan Cheng:2013/07/12 at 12:38 amTransformer?!
