The LeBron 11 got its official unveiling yesterday — pretty impressive shoe, no? — quite possibly an indicator of a proliferation of new colorways in the coming weeks. Today, for example, we get our first detailed look, following up a recent fleeting glimpse, of the Nike LeBron 11 Gamma Blue, release date still unannounced.Lighter metallic-finished blue covers the Hyperposite upper, set against solid silver Hyperfuse synthetic and black mesh through the midfoot. Black extends through the tongue, while the aforementioned silver tone recurs over the outsole.Still no official release info on the books, but these are expected on shelves this fall.Photos via Sole Up.
We’re still a couple months from the expected Nike LeBron XI release, but that merely means there’s plenty of time to preview a number of upcoming colorways. Case in point, the LeBron XI Olive/Black, for lack of the colorway’s official name.The new “Armorposite” material is colored in olive green along the side, overlaid against tonal Hyperfuse synthetic which gives way to breathable black mesh down the center of the shoe.Red Flywire peeks out at the lacelets, adding contrast, but the truly eye-catching feature is the multi-colored inner-lining, which is styled in the same vein as the LeBron X Low from the Championship Pack.This was actually the first colorway we previewed back in May, so we won’t spend much time on it today. Episode three of the LeBrons has hit the web and as usual it’s teaching something of a moral, in this case that family is the most important thing. Apparently. Even though Gloria, from this episode, isn’t family in the literal sense. Being something of a skeptic, I’m wondering if “The LeBrons” was a public way to rebuild public sentiment toward LeBron. If so, I think it’s working; guy is just likable as hell while watching this show. I could, however, do without the awkward camera-switching during the live video segment with LeBron. Every single episode, man. Still, an entertaining watch and insanely high production value for a web show. And once you finish that up, check out episode one and episode two.
