Shared the preview for this last week, but the updated McDonald’s HORSE ad—starring LeBron James and Dwight Howard and inspired by the classic Larry Bird/Michael Jordan ad—debuted during the Super Bowl yesterday. As a departure from the original ad, LeBron and Dwight only used dunks. Check it out.
The purple and blue keep flowing on LeBron’s latest, today bringing yet another round of detailed shots of the Nike LeBron 11 Hornets. The shoe is presumably inspired by the Summit Lake Hornets, the childhood rec team of LeBron that’s inspired a colorway of most of LBJ’s signature models, but it bears more than a passing resemblance to the Charlotte Hornets style as well, a team that returns to the NBA next season.Deep purple Hyperposite is fit into blue-and-pink-tinted, honeycomb-printed Hyperfuse, which then gives way to a brighter purple mesh through the midfoot and tongue. Light blue then recurs, popping on the inner-lining, Flywire and outsole, while silver-and-pink Swoosh and branding complete the look. We’re still waiting for release information, so check out plenty of shots below while we track it down.Nike LeBron 11Court Purple/Reflective Silver-Vivid BlueStyle #: 626374-500TBA$200Photos via Marquee Sole.
