The Nike LeBron 11 Blackout release date has been moved up a full fortnight. Originally slated to launch March 29, it will now land on stateside shelves this Saturday, March 15. Retail is still set for $200.While not technically blacked-out, the colorway is likely as dark as the shoe is getting, mixing black Hyperfuse and mesh with anthracite Hyperposite piecing that’s speckled with tonal black. Adding the slightest contrast, both Swooshes and the tongue-branding feature a subtly flashy metallic — almost iridescent, really — purple finish. This Saturday’s now the day, with online accounts stocking the shoe at 8am EDT, so start preparing. New details are below.Nike LeBron 11Black/Multi-Color-AnthraciteStyle #: 616175-09015 March 2014$200
Your boy LeBron James debuted yet another color of his Nike Air Max LeBron VII last night against the Gilbert-less Washington Wizards, sporting a pair of Air Max LeBron VII “Hardwood Classics” that feature a wine upper comprised primarily of patent and flywire, gold accents and a white Swoosh and midsole. No information about them yet, but I’m sure they’ll wind up at least hitting Foot Locker’s House of Hoops stores, if not a wider release. Pictures from Getty Images by way of Yahoo Sports and NBAE. LeBron has also worn a pair of royal blue Air Max LeBron VII Hardwood Classics, shoes—like these—that pay homage to the classic colors of the Cavs franchise.
The LeBron XI has been responsible for myriad broken necks and popped eyes since the various editions started rolling out back in November, but the upcoming “King’s Crown” may just be making a late run to be named Best Colorway Ever. The perfect combination of neutral and conspicuous, rendered in premium everything, the shoe starts out with an understated black upper. Mundanity is forgone however thanks to a buttery molded suede construction, taking the familiar shape of the XI while minimizing stitching and panels, then giving way to a tonal leather sockliner.Delivering stylishly shocking contrast, ultra-metallic gold then adorns the model’s signature inlays, perfectly popping against not just the black upper, but an icy blue outsole.Unfortunately we’re still short one Nike LeBron 11 EXT King’s Crown release date, so check out plenty of photos below and keep it locked to NB for updates.Photos via Marquee Sole.
