For the first time in a few weeks, we’ve got a new LeBron 11 colorway to preview and damned if it’s not absolutely spectacular, presuming you’re fine with a wide-ranging, slightly non-traditional palette. Call it the Nike LeBron 11 Blue/Green-Pink-Yellow, although I’m sure there’s an obviously intuitive nickname that perfectly explains from whence the shoe derives its inspiration, but it escapes me at the moment. Anyone?Dark blue Hypersposite piecing sits against solid green Hyperfuse, alternating back to blue through the midfoot mesh. Contrast then comes by way of yellow on the midfoot Swoosh, tongue-branding and outsole, while a pink inner-lining completes the look. We’ll bring you detailed photos and release info as we get’em, but in the meantime, how does this stack up to the early LeBron 11 looks?Photos via sneakergaga.

The Nike LeBron X Cork release date is set for tomorrow, February 23rd, the shoe hitting select retailers nationwide. The singularly stylish X sports a genuine cork upper — a subtle nod to LeBron’s championship last year and the accompanying champagne celebrations — with complementary brown leather tongue, white midsole and occasional red accents. This is the first LeBron X to be appropriated by the Nike Sportswear design team, and sports fashion-first premium quality from heel to toe, hence the moderately higher price tag.
