The Nike KD7 was officially unveiled yesterday, an innovative amalgam of a basketball shoe that plays to Kevin Durant’s strengths in the post as well as his point guard-like quickness. So now the wait is on: When will the Nike LeBron 12 get its official unveiling?Whenever it does, the acclaim is sure to follow soon after. Given, we don’t know much about the shoe, but it looks impressive so far. Mesh is infused with what appears to be a performance knit through the upper, then overlaid with lightweight Hyperposite piecing. Beneath, the outsole boasts a unique pod system, supplemented by cushy, resilient, bottom-loaded Zoom Air.Details as they develop.Photos via Sneakergaga.

(Although, thanks to both squads sporting red, a couple colorways so far are more or less?interchangable.) As a nice change of pace, the latest colorway ignores all of that, coming straight out of left field. Heat related? Nope. Cavs inspired? Not at all. Wildly eye-popping? In spades. One of the first editions to feature a patterned overlay, the Nike LeBron 12 Orange/Volt rocks a bright orange mesh construction, set off by volt branding and blue accents. Then comes that overlay, which starts out grey with a slight orange gradient, before striking volt streaks run the length of the piecing. It’s an aggressive look, undoubtedly, but then LeBron’s shoes have never really been about playing it safe. How do you like this beacon of brightness?Photos via SuppliedPDX.Previous story Watch: Jordan Brand Football Family Trains at Nike HQNext story Nike Flyknit Roshe Run NM Releases 8/29 on NDCRelated PostsNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningApril 28, 2015Nike LeBron 12 Low “Entourage” Release NearsApril 27, 2015Nike LeBron 12 EXT “Rubber City” Release DateApril 24, 2015Nike LeBron 12 Low “Entourage” | In DetailApril 23, 2015Natasha Champagne:2014/10/09 at 12:40 amI love it.When will it be availableFacebookSearch NikeBlog.comRecent PostsNew Nike Football Cleat Types Bring Speed to Every PositionNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningNike Free Flyknit Hot Lava | Latest Flyknit Model Finally DropsThe Statuesque Air Jordan 9 “Militia Green”Nike Air Max NM Red/Black | Hideo’s Heat Returns!Recent PostsNew Nike Football Cleat Types Bring Speed to Every PositionNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningNike Free Flyknit Hot Lava | Latest Flyknit Model Finally DropsThe Statuesque Air Jordan 9 “Militia Green”Nike Air Max NM Red/Black | Hideo’s Heat Returns!MIssionTo provide the most up to date news, images, and opinions on today's top sneaker company.FIND ARTICLESHomeAboutAdvertise on NBContactPrivacyTwitterFacebookRSSNikeBlog.com is not affiliated with the Nike, Inc. brand in any way, shape, or form. And today we take one more look at it — the Nike LeBron 12.We still eagerly await details, but what we’ve seen early looks impressive. The upper seems to feature a performance knit-and-mesh composition, overlaid by ‘Posite piecing. That’s all set atop an innovative, reimagined outsole that’s largely comprised of a system of pods and enhanced with bottom-loaded Zoom Air.And one more cool, heretofore-unseen feature: Each heel boasts a small, stylized take on da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man, a famous drawing inspired by the ideal proportions of humans. (Or, in this case, of basketball players.)Stay tuned for concrete information.Photos via Bilskii.Previous story Nike KD VII Independence Day | Detailed PhotosNext story Nike Lunar Vapor Trout CAMO PERelated PostsNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningApril 28, 2015Nike LeBron 12 Low “Entourage” Release NearsApril 27, 2015Nike LeBron 12 EXT “Rubber City” Release DateApril 24, 2015Nike LeBron 12 Low “Entourage” | In DetailApril 23, 2015FacebookSearch NikeBlog.comRecent PostsNew Nike Football Cleat Types Bring Speed to Every PositionNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningNike Free Flyknit Hot Lava | Latest Flyknit Model Finally DropsThe Statuesque Air Jordan 9 “Militia Green”Nike Air Max NM Red/Black | Hideo’s Heat Returns!Recent PostsNew Nike Football Cleat Types Bring Speed to Every PositionNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningNike Free Flyknit Hot Lava | Latest Flyknit Model Finally DropsThe Statuesque Air Jordan 9 “Militia Green”Nike Air Max NM Red/Black | Hideo’s Heat Returns!MIssionTo provide the most up to date news, images, and opinions on today's top sneaker company.FIND ARTICLESHomeAboutAdvertise on NBContactPrivacyTwitterFacebookRSSNikeBlog.com is not affiliated with the Nike, Inc. brand in any way, shape, or form.
