To help launch the ninth LeBron James signature shoe, special editions of the shoe will release on October 14th, each done up in one of those schools’ colors. Today we get the first look at the Nike LeBron 9 – Kentucky Wildcats edition, which goes for a black and blue upper contrasted by white on the Swoosh and midsole. Hit the jump for another look and head to spots like Lexington’s Oneness (oneness287.com). I should mention that they’re claiming an October 15th midnight (Friday night) release, rather than the 14th, so you may want to call to make sure.Nike LeBron 9 - Kentucky PEPrevious story Video: ‘Always On – Lamar Odom’Next story Air Jordan 9 – Oregon State PERelated PostsNike “Cut the Net” T-Shirts Available for Final 4 TeamsMarch 30, 2015Nike Rolls Out White Hyper Elite Uniforms for Elite NCAA TeamsFebruary 20, 2015Nike LeBron 12 ‘Kentucky Wildcats PE’November 24, 2014New Kentucky Basketball Uniforms for Bahamas TourAugust 4, 2014Dee Uptown Stewart:2011/10/11 at 8:45 pmnice I want but we will see.FacebookSearch NikeBlog.comRecent PostsNew Nike Football Cleat Types Bring Speed to Every PositionNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningNike Free Flyknit Hot Lava | Latest Flyknit Model Finally DropsThe Statuesque Air Jordan 9 “Militia Green”Nike Air Max NM Red/Black | Hideo’s Heat Returns!Recent PostsNew Nike Football Cleat Types Bring Speed to Every PositionNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningNike Free Flyknit Hot Lava | Latest Flyknit Model Finally DropsThe Statuesque Air Jordan 9 “Militia Green”Nike Air Max NM Red/Black | Hideo’s Heat Returns!MIssionTo provide the most up to date news, images, and opinions on today's top sneaker company.FIND ARTICLESHomeAboutAdvertise on NBContactPrivacyTwitterFacebookRSSNikeBlog.com is not affiliated with the Nike, Inc. brand in any way, shape, or form. Initially, seemingly too outside-the-box a colorway to get a proper release, it appears more and more likely that the Nike LeBron 11 Reverse King’s Pride will indeed hit retailers, an idea that’s only furthered by today’s preview of a GS edition of the shoe.An actual date is still uncertain, but the shoe’s striking good looks are anything but. A black Fuse-and-mesh construction is starkly juxtaposed by wildly colorful print on the Hyperposite piecing, the pattern ostensibly inspired by palm tree leaves although rendered in several colors. A translucent outsole sits beneath and, on this GS editon anyway, a white Swoosh contrasts. (The men’s version sports a jade Swoosh.)While we work on tracking down launch details, check out plenty of shots below, courtesy of SA.

At this point last year I don’t think we’d seen more than a couple of pairs of the Zoom LeBron VI, and we weren’t even close to sneaking a peak at the Low version, so props to Nike for moving the LeBron VII along so quickly. It’s important to keep in mind that since these are almost a year away and not a single one has released yet, so the physical makeup of the shoe could undergo some small changes between then and now.#gallery-1 {margin: auto;}#gallery-1 .gallery-item {float: left;margin-top: 10px;text-align: center;width: 33%;}#gallery-1 img {border: 2px solid #cfcfcf;}#gallery-1 .gallery-caption {margin-left: 0;}/* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */Nike Air Max LeBron VII Low Grey/White-RedNike Air Max LeBron VII Low White/WhiteNike Air Max LeBron VII Low White/NavyNike Air Max LeBron VII Low White/Black-RedNike Air Max LeBron VII Low Red/Blue-WhiteNike Air Max LeBron VII Low Off White/Orange-BrownNike Air Max LeBron VII Low Neutral Grey/University Blue-WhiteNike Air Max LeBron VII Low Blue/OrangeNike Air Max LeBron VII Low–Summer 2010Previous story Nike 6.0 Holiday CollectionNext story Nike Zoom SkypositeRelated PostsThe Year in Nike Films | 10 Best Swoosh AdsDecember 30, 2014Watch: LeBron James Talks Signature ShoesDecember 2, 2014Watch: LeBron James ‘Together’ Ad Celebrates Cleveland UnityOctober 30, 2014Watch: Sprite Imagines “LeBron James’ First Home Game”October 28, 2014FacebookSearch NikeBlog.comRecent PostsNew Nike Football Cleat Types Bring Speed to Every PositionNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningNike Free Flyknit Hot Lava | Latest Flyknit Model Finally DropsThe Statuesque Air Jordan 9 “Militia Green”Nike Air Max NM Red/Black | Hideo’s Heat Returns!Recent PostsNew Nike Football Cleat Types Bring Speed to Every PositionNike LeBron 12 “Akron” PE is StunningNike Free Flyknit Hot Lava | Latest Flyknit Model Finally DropsThe Statuesque Air Jordan 9 “Militia Green”Nike Air Max NM Red/Black | Hideo’s Heat Returns!MIssionTo provide the most up to date news, images, and opinions on today's top sneaker company.FIND ARTICLESHomeAboutAdvertise on NBContactPrivacyTwitterFacebookRSSNikeBlog.com is not affiliated with the Nike, Inc. brand in any way, shape, or form.
